The Massachusetts Institute of Technology Tote Bag is made from sustainable melton wool sourced from one of the oldest mills in the USA and features the classic chenille “MIT” logo on premium wool. this timeless tote is crafted to last a lifetime, with full-grain leather accents, double-lock stitching, and durable brass hardware. It also includes a zippered interior pocket and twill cotton lining throughout, ensuring a bag that only gets better with time.

Do not machine wash, dry clean or iron.

If your leather gets dirty, you can use a soft cloth or brush to first remove any dirt that might be sitting on the material’s surface. Next, you can mix a solution of warm water and dish soap and wipe the leather. It is always a good idea to “spot test” any cleaning method first on a minimally visible area of the bag to avoid discoloration. Lastly, wipe the soap off with a clean damp cloth and let the bag air dry.
